DRS generally invests substantial resources to achieve an optimal recovery for its clients. Such investment comprises the work performed by its own staff, general administrative expenses, case related expenses as well as the cost and fees of all third parties working on the case on behalf of its clients. In addition, DRS may take over certain risks from its clients.
As compensation for its investment and risks, DRS will charge a variable fee depending on the outcome of the recovery case.
DRS can offer other remuneration models to clients who are willing to co-invest in a recovery case, such as a combination of fixed fees and variable fees. In large cases involving large groups of private investors DRS usually charges an up-front fee covering certain administrative costs in combination with a variable fee. Finally, monitoring services are provided on the basis of a subscription fee remuneration model.
